Adams State University

Alternative Teacher Licensure


Adams State University’s alternative licensure program is an online program designed for working professionals who wish to become licensed teachers in Colorado. The program leads to initial licensure in elementary, secondary, or K-12 education. It provides candidates with coursework, supervised field experience, and student teaching supervision to help prepare them for effective teaching in the classroom. The program is flexible, affordable, and offers a dedicated advisor to assist candidates throughout their licensure and degree program.
